When you have a teenaged son, this is what your jack o’lantern looks like.  We had a good laugh over this.  I can still remember when my kiddos weren’t old enough to hold a knife and carve a pumpkin. Some of my favorite Halloween memories involve pulling my kids and their cousins around our neighborhood in a little red wagon.  I can remember costumes that worked, the ones that were trouble (Peter Pan’s hat kept flying away, Tarzan’s Jane’s umbrella left in a haunted house), and mostly I remember the hot cocoa after we were done and sitting at the kitchen table with my kids as they divided their candy stash into piles to eat tonight and to save for the week.
