Most of the time my days and nights are filled with writing, playing with Godiva and spending time with my husband and kids. But every once in a while I leave the "writer at work" and go out to pretend to be a fabulous author. Last Wednesday was one of those occasions.
The HarperCollins summer party was held in the gardens at the V&A museum. I'd never been to the museum before and I'm definitely planning a trip back soon. The party was packed with authors who's names you would recognise and whose books you love. I won't try to list them all here.
I really enjoyed talking about writing and our lives and the paths that everyone took to becoming a published author.
